We ask writer Anita Saxena for her tips and secrets to writing and crafting the YA novel. Anita Saxena has been an instructor for the Pelham Writing Workshop and an adjunct professor for the UAB Honor’s program where she taught How to Write a Young Adult or Middle Grade Novel. She’s a member of the Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators. As an author who has mentored aspiring writers and shared her insights on the craft, Anita understands the importance of authenticity and relatability in storytelling.
